Gut health and digestive issues

Gut health is at the centre of health and wellbeing. When our gut isn’t functioning correctly or we have a microbial imbalance, all of our systems are impacted. Gut health can be linked to ongoing issues such as allergies, intolerances, inflammation, anxiety, depression, autoimmune conditions and chronic disease.

Nutritional medicine can help you reduce your dependence on specialty diets and medications to manage your gut and overall health. Together we’ll investigate and address any underlying digestive disturbances and restore your gut health.

  • Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)

  • Food allergies and intolerances

  • Reflux and gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD)

  • Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO)

  • Chronic constipation, diarrhoea, bloating, excessive flatulence/burping

  • Coeliac disease

  • Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and ulcerative colitis

  • Candida

Comprehensive stool analysis, breath testing and allergy/intolerance testing may be used to gain greater insight and reduce treatment times.

Chronic Conditions

Chronic and Complex conditions

A large number of cases I see are chronic, complex and have previously had no diagnosis or explanation. My approach to interpreting symptoms, blood tests and other factors is from a functional and holistic perspective which can often provide insight and explanation. Where necessary, more comprehensive functional testing may be recommended to get to the bottom of your challenges and help you gain control of your health and wellbeing.
