Fertility and Pregnancy Care

The health of both parents before, during and after pregnancy can heavily influence both the health of their children and future health outcomes.

Common preconception time frames of 3 months are in place as it takes approximately 74 days for a sperm to mature and 100 days for an egg. However a 6-12 month time frame is suggested for optimal outcomes.

Women's Health and Hormones

Hormones are chemical messengers that play roles in many aspects of our overall health. They can influence the way we feel, behave and how our bodies function and navigating their various fluctuations can be confusing and frustrating at times. Various hormonal conditions that can be supported include:

Gold standard hormone profiling and genetic testing may be suggested and utilised to gain a greater insight into your case and reduce treatment times.

Gut Health and Digestive Issues

Gut health is at the centre of health and well-being and when our gut is not functioning correctly or we have an imbalance of microbial species taking up residence, the rest of our body systems are impacted which can lead to ongoing health issues such as allergies and intolerances, inflammation, anxiety, depression, autoimmune conditions and chronic disease.

By understanding and addressing the underlying drivers of these gut disturbances, dependence on diets and medications can be reduced and gut health can be restored.

Comprehensive stool analysis, breath testing and allergy/intolerance testing can be utilised to gain greater insight and reduce treatment times.

What conditions have underlying explanations?

Chronic and Complex Conditions

A large number of cases I see are chronic and complex and have previously had no explanation. We are often told that our blood work is fine and that there is "nothing wrong", but we know that isn't the case. My approach to interpreting blood work is from a functional perspective which can often provide great insight and explanation to people in these cases and where necessary, more comprehensive functional testing may be recommended.

In addition, the following conditions can be supported:

  • Skin Disorders - Acne, Rosacea, Eczema, Psoriasis, Dermatitis
